State of the Ape LVI
Thanks once more for your prayers.
Still nothing new to report healthwise. The appointment with my oncologist was postponed to November, and so the blood work was also postponed; so we don’t know where we are yet.
On the bright side, I’m getting my strength back (such as it was) after the chemotherapy. My walks are getting longer and I’m doing more about the house.
The new cover for Edwina 1 is well along.
Edwina 3 went to the beta readers on October 12. I’ve already heard back from two of them. Both liked it a lot, and suggested only minor tweaks.
I’m up to Chapter 4 of Edwina 4. I have to keep reminding myself (as I do every book) that this is a first draft and what matters is getting words on paper; I’ll clean it up later.
I’ve also started looking at the short stories I’ve written over the past six years, with the intent of revising and improving them and publishing them as a collection.

To his fellow Persians.
Jean Sibelius
Joined his fortunes with Australia’s.
He saw no future in
Remaining merely a Finn.And because it’s funny:
