State of the Ape LIV
Thanks, everyone, for your prayers for us.
My health is still good. My walks continue to get longer.
Edwina 2: I got a preliminary sketch of the cover from GetCovers.com and it looks very good. The maps are also ready. We’re almost there.
Edwina 3: There is still tweaking to be done, but it has gone to the Bride for a preliminary critique.
AND: I have started serious work on Edwina 4! I finished the first draft of Chapter 1, and then realized that the chapter was unnecessary; the events would be better described in retrospect. Such is the pantser’s life.

State of the Ape LIII
Yet again: thank you very much for your prayers.
Not much to report on the health front. My strength is coming back; I’ve been going for walks regularly and the walks are getting longer.
On the other hand, much is happening with Edwina. I’m still working on Edwina 3 and hope to have it ready for a preliminary critique by — maybe I won’t say when.
Bur the bigger news is Edwina 2. I’ve placed an order with GetCovers.com and hopefully will be getting a cover soon. I have also been working with a new graphics designer for a map for the book, and also for a revised and updated map of Fenshire, and both are almost ready (and remarkably well done!). So Edwina 2
may finally see the light of day...say sometime this year?
Aaand…the clerihews are back!
